Description
Purpose: A brand-new, full-credit course offered to in-person students only.
Content: Combines worship theory (structures, various traditions beyond the Lutheran Book of Worship) with practical application.
Structure:
Two hours/week: Traditional classroom theory.
Two hours/week: Practical "laboratory" work planning and leading chapel services.
Breadth: Engagement extends across all four spiritual communal practices: text study, contemplative practice, Wednesday Holy Communion, and Thursday Lunch Church.
