Description
This course integrates, at an advanced level: (a) current counseling theory; (b) the clinical practice of pastoral counseling; (c) the dynamics of the counseling relationship; and (d) professional development and identity. The emphasis is on inter-subjective narratives, cognitive-behavioral methods, and family systems. Attention is paid to ethics, multicultural perspectives, gender, and social context. Revised.
