Description

A study of the Psalter that includes classification and analysis of the psalms, their place within the Bible, and their theological significance. The course seeks to develop an appreciation of biblical poetry and provide tools for its interpretation. Consideration is given to the use of psalms in Christian ministry. Students who have taken OT3110 for credit may NOT take OT3111 for credit. Prerequisite: LG1100 Hebrew or equivalent for all MDiv and MA-Old Testament students.
