Description

A study of Christian understanding of vocation, especially in the theology of the Reformers and in the 20th century. The relation of vocation to the distinctions between God's creative and redemptive work, law and gospel, justification and sanctification, and to the two kingdoms is central. The implications of vocation for lay ministry and Christian ethics are also considered. Prerequisite: ST2420 Ethics I.
