Description
A study of Paul's letter to the Philippians based on the Greek text. This letter serves as a doorway for the exploration of broader Pauline topics: how his practice of writing letters shaped his theology and informed his relationships to communities; how theological, social and cultural issues were treated in his other epistles; and how (and why) Paul was represented in early Christian literature after his death, including the Acts of the Apostles. Prerequisite: LG1200 Greek for MDIV and MA-New Testament students
