Description

An introduction to Hebrew grammar and syntax. Reading and analysis of selected Old Testament texts explores the nature of translation and its relation to interpretation. Help is given in effective use of resources such as grammars, lexicons, concordances, parsing guides, and interlinears. Mastery of basic vocabulary is stressed. IF TAKEN IN THE J-TERM, BOTH J-TERM (1.0 CRS) AND SPRING (F6 - 0.5 CRS) ARE REQUIRED. CANNOT TAKE SPRING F6 SECTION WITHOUT HAVING COMPLETED J-TERM 1.0 SECTION.
