Description
An exploration of the possibilities and problems of confessing Christ as Lord and Savior in a contemporary Asian context. The course will introduce the Christian biblical and theological tradition, the Asian experience of the church(es), the encounters with other religions, and the political and economic realities. Focusing on a selected region or country (such as India or China), the course will reflect on the dynamics of Christianity in Asia and on the relationship between Asian and US-American Christians.
