Description
Explore and engage in ministry in rural northern South Africa. Participants live, serve, and worship with pastors and members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in South Africa. There are opportunities to learn about and participate in worship leadership, pastoral care, women's ministries, and youth ministries. In addition, participants engage in theological reflection on ministry in the South African context, including conversation with Dr. Tshenuwani S. Fairisani, a Lutheran pastor, theologian and currently the elected Speaker of the Limpopo Province Legislature. Offered through Luther and PLTS. Registration and a deposit are required.
